Caravan 208 / 208B STC Awarded to Airforms, Inc Cessna Caravan 208 / 208B – Wheel Bolt – STC

The original Bolts to lock the wheel halves together were AN bolts at  125,000 psi strength.  These bolts might bend and even shear off under load, crosswind and, or icy conditions. The new STC bolts are MS bolts at 180,000 psi strength. A customer that has this STC on a 208B set of wheels says after the first wheel teardown they saw no wear on the MS bolts.
