Airforms, Inc. awarded new FAA PMA approval for CASA 212 Bushings

As part of its continuing mission to support aging utility aircraft, Airforms, Inc. has obtained issuance of new FAA PMA approvals covering a 19 different bushings for EADS CASA 212 aircraft.  This suite of bushings will aid CASA operators around the world as they struggle to find replacement parts for their aging aircraft in a timely manner. The high quality Airforms bushings are machined from a nickel/bronze alloy for durability and long service life.  They are eligible for installation on all CASA model 212 aircraft, are available immediately, and are a fraction of the cost of OEM replacements. Airforms currently produces replacement brake disks for the CASA.

“Our FAA DERs continue to move forward on new PMA projects.  They are heavily engaged in various engineering programs for a number of our customers in order to provide economical support solutions for aging fleets,” said Steve Hunter, Sales and Marketing Executive at Airforms, Inc.  “These precision manufactured replacements are in response to numerous requests for affordable bushings – parts are available today to keep the CASAs flying.” Airforms is the world’s leading supplier of replacement engine baffles for a wide range of general aviation aircraft; products also include an expanding line of turboprop aircraft PMA parts, STCs, and hard to source parts for fleet operators.  Airforms maintains an FAA approved manufacturing system for PMA parts, supported by an engineering department with FAA DER staff engineers.
